Polperro is one of the most traditional and best preserved historic villages in Britain. It is situated on the gentle South Coast of Cornwall and is accessed via gentle winding country roads that are truly reminiscent of days gone by. Car parking is outside the village and visitors are encouraged to walk through the narrow twisting lanes or take the horse and buggy service down to the beautiful harbour, which is overlooked by a multitude of cottages perched high on the steep slopes.
